design/costume/styling

As a designer, I am interested in working with those whose work becomes an aesthetic movement experience. I find the most intriguing atmospheres come from work with emotion and clarity of story.

naked mole rat
Baylee Ferrerra

Naked Mole Rat is an original work for the stage that premiered in Variance, CSULB's 2023 BFA Concert. The piece examines the fear, hope and desperation of being seen as you truly are through a surreal and horror-inspired journey out of the darkness and into the light.

Pockets
Tori Cone

Utilizing the word literally and figuratively to drive the piece, Pockets displays an environment for individual stories to exist collectively through dynamic movement, play in partnerwork, and collaboration with clothing. Moving with the intention of “being in the pocket,” the group finds ways to dance through each other, with each other, and for each other, while maintaining compassion for oneself in that same manner.

Assembly
Rebecca Lemme

In this culminating project for the BFA Workshop class at CSULB, each performer/contributor works to create a language and means for coming together as they endeavor to hold space for the parts of themselves as both individuals and a collective.

stay a while, stay a little longer
Eliza Loran

Stay a While, Stay a Little Longer is a collage of movement, noise, and light. Three relationships research the often unfulfilled human craving to take time, process with honesty, stay a while, or stay a little longer.

Pivot
Kevin Holland

Pivot takes place in the space where we hover before contact is made. It is a piece about nearness and proximity, and feeling the energy of those around us through reverberations in place of physical touch.
